The Creative Aging + Wellbeing convening is a day-long event designed for professionals interested in exploring the field of creative aging through hands-on learning and small group discussions.

The full-day program will include:

• The Future of Creative Aging: Keynote panel discussion on creating reciprocal community partnerships, integrating arts into existing services, and building staff capacity.

Led by staff from the Center on Colfax, Denver Public Library, Multidisciplinary Center on Aging at University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, and University of Denver.

• Program Sampling: Hands-on sampling of DAM’s creative aging programs and spaces: Art and About, Drop-In Drawing, Mindful Looking, Art at Hand boxes, Sensory Garden, and the Community Spotlight exhibition space.

• How to Design for Wellbeing: Interactive workshop on designing and evaluating programs using a wellbeing lens.

• Opportunities for small group discussions and networking with other attendees throughout the day.
