Logan Lectures

Logan Lecture: Devon Dikeou

Responding to John Baldessari's quote,  "Instead of looking at things, look between things," Devon Dikeou will share a glimpse into the things in between that circulate her practice as an artist. For Dikeou, this includes creating, editing and publishing zingmagazine, and co-creating Denver's Dikeou Collection with her brother Pany Dikeou.

Logan Lecture: Phillip K. Smith III

Phillip K. Smith, III, builds on explorations of the perception of light, color and space while creating physical and seemingly ephemeral sculptures. His large-scale, temporary installations include internationally renowned Lucid Stead (2013) in Joshua Tree, California, and Reflection Field (2014) and Portals (2016), both of which debuted at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. With his participation in Desert X 2017, Smith continues to employ the purity of geometry and patterns in nature.
