Join us for this engaging lecture that will present how historical sources and craft traditions greatly influenced 20th and 21st century fashion design in Mexico through short biographical profiles of key designers from the period.

Immediately after the Mexican Revolution in the 1920s, fashion designers began incorporating ideas borrowed from traditional garments and historical visual repertoires into their production to infuse national identity to their deigns.
