In this 4-week class, students will learn a variety of watercolor techniques through practice and will experiment with the ways watercolor interacts with other media through the creation of multiple watercolor paintings. By the end of the session, students will understand the basic techniques and practices in watercolor painting and feel comfortable experimenting at home to form their own practice centered around joy and experimentation.

Students will purchase their own materials and should expect to spend $40-60.

Luncheon by Design begins at 11:00 am with a lively networking reception. At noon, guests will enjoy a seated luncheon and our featured program in the Sturm Grand Pavilion. At 1:30 pm, immediately following the program, guests are invited to an exclusive viewing of Conversation Pieces: Stories from the Fashion Archives—a fitting finale to an experience steeped in bold style and iconic design.

I am unable to attend Luncheon by Design but would like to make a contribution in support of the event.

Donations to this fund are invested by the DAM foundation with the intention to grow the fund in value over time. This fund provides an annual distribution based on the Foundation's policy.  Distributed funds are used to acquire new artwork for the DAM.

The Museum regularly reconciles expenditures made from distributed funds to ensure that they are allocated as intended.

Untitled: Artist Takeover is a quarterly collaboration with local artists and creatives to create an evening full of events, performances, artmaking, and one-of-a-kind experiences. Throughout the night, artists showcase their work while providing a hands-on and engaging atmosphere.
