CultureHaus InHaus presents an exclusive tour of Rembrandt

CultureHaus InHaus presents an exclusive after-hours tour of Rembrandt: Painter as Printmaker with Curator Timothy J. Strandring.

Rembrandt: Painter as Printmaker showcases over 100 prints by Rembrandt van Rijn. The exhibition focuses on Rembrandt's innovative approach to printmaking that combined etching, drypoint and engraving. New research is presented revealing how Rembrandt intentionally varied the states of his prints for marketing and storytelling purposes. While the exhibition focuses on Rembrandt's exploration of printmaking, several paintings and 17 drawings also will be on view to provide additional context about his creative process in all media.

Join us for happy hour at 5:30 p.m. at Cap City Tavern, 1247 Bannock St, Denver, CO 80204. We'll head over to the DAM around 6:15 p.m. for the private tour which will begin at 6:30 p.m. This event is free for CultureHaus members plus one guest. We look forward to seeing you!

Logan Lecture: Erika Harrsch

Erika Harrsch's website biography describes her multisensory, interactive experiences as  a comprehensive reflection about the body and identity, sexuality, desire, the space that defines us and the one we wish for, the limits and vertiginous freedom that lead to a continuous corporeal and ideological migration.  This Mexico City-born artist has resided in New York City for over a decade. The past eight years have seen her collaborate with well-known musicians and composers. She joins the Fall 2018 Logan Lecture series with a new perspective on the non-linear videos from Room 35.

The Logan Lecture series is sponsored by Vicki and Kent Logan in affiliation with Contemporary Alliance, a DAM support group.
